What happens when the number of people on this planet goes beyond what the human mind can fully comprehend?
When asked about the number of grains of sand in one beach, we don't know. Yet, the beach is one continuous entity that we somehow can't ever see as trillions of grains of sand in one place. Somewhere along the way, we take a subtle leap from divisibility to continuity.
What happens when we can no longer think of humanity as a divisible mass of life but only as a continuous spread? Better yet: a continuous spread of life that produces, consumes and destroys almost anything in its path?
